ASU campus grows again

Albany State University opens two new residence halls and a student center with a ribbon cutting.  600 students will call Hall 5 and Hall 6 home away from home.

Among the rooms, students will enjoy a black box theater, dance studio, and a demonstration kitchen.

Students can then go over and enjoy the newly built 83,000 square feet student center.

Inside there's a new Chick-Fil-a, seating area, and a new bookstore among other rooms.

ADICA issued a bond for the student center and the new dorms. Student fees also helped pay for the new center students voted on years ago.
