Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.More >>
HOUSTON COUNTY, GA (WALB) -
A suspected ammunition thief is in jail tonight after months on the run. Corneilius Nelson was arrested Wednesday in Houston County.
Investigators think he's the man shown in surveillance video stealing more than $4,000 worth of ammo from the Walmart in Moultrie in late March. He's accused of doing the same thing two months later in Cordele.
We weren't able to find out the circumstances of Nelson's arrest from Houston County authorities Wednesday night.
