DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -

Three people, including a 4-year old child, were injured in a crash in Western Dougherty County this afternoon.

Dougherty County Police say about 3:45 a Toyota Highlander pulled in front of a construction van towing a trailer at the intersection of Leary and Newton Roads.

The van t-boned the Toyota.

A man, woman, and the child were in the Toyota which had a Houston County tag.

E-M-S supervisors say the two adults were in critical condition when they were transported to the hospital.

The two men in the construction van were not injured.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.
