It's now easier for Darton College computer students to continue their studies at another Georgia college.

Presidents from Darton and Macon State College signed a course articulation agreement.

Students who earn an associates degree in Business Computer Systems at Darton can now go directly to Macon State to get a bachelors of science in Information Technology.

"For students to be able to continue their education, without having to do it too far away. And finding ways for us to work together, really synergy is what it is all about, finding the benefits of the two institutions, being able to help students complete their higher education," said Macon State College President Dr. Jeffrey S. Allbritten.

The agreement is effective immediately.
