There is trouble in the back field at Albany State as Kareem Hess may be watching most of his 2011 season from the sideline. Hess once again has injured his knee and may miss the entire season. If you'll remember Hess missed most of last season after tearing his ACL and meniscus. He was set to be the Rams' starting running back this season after the departure of LaRonnie Davis and Robert Welton.
In addition, the Rams will also be without another running back in Jamaris Cooper. He'll miss significant time with a knee injury. Transfer Nate Hoyte, Luther Edwards and senior Darryl Carey will all see time in the backfield this season.
