ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A new center is opening with sights and sounds of creativity and education.
Kids showed off their talent at the grand opening of the Family Empowerment Center on 2200 East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
The program, which is based off performing arts and education, is for children of all ages including parents, and grandchildren.
Right now, it's open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays.
The director hopes to start after school programs next school year.
Businesses and organizations help support the center. The volunteer staff always welcomes donations.
