A gas station in Tifton caught fire this morning after a collision.
The son of the owner of J. M. Food Mart on Highway 82 east told us a cement truck drove into a power pole around 8:30AM.
The truck then slammed into a gas pump which started a fire.
He said he saw the flames and ran straight to the emergency button to stop gasoline flow to the pump.
Georgia State troopers told us their report shows officers responded to that area to help with traffic control because of a fire but does not mention a wreck.
