Wreck sets gas pump afire

A truck ran into a power pole at the JM Store near the intersection of U. S. Highways 82 and 319, near Tifton about 8:40AM.

The collision caused a light pole to fall, shorting against a gas pump, and starting a fire.

EMTs transported an injured man, perhaps the driver of the truck that wrecked, to a hospital for treatment.
