Two houses on Winifred Road were victims of car burglaries as items were stolen out of their vehicles just a few feet from their home.

Ms. Jill Colley was in town visiting her mother when the crooks ransacked her car late last night. She noticed her credit cards and money were stolen out of her purse as well as a $90 charge on her account.

Neighbor David Paul was running errands when he witnessed his ID was gone along with cash and credit cards.

Paul says, "Somebody has to be very brazen to with all four dogs barking at 5o clock in the morning to rifle through my stuff and take it."

Residents will now take more caution and lock their cars at all times.
