Georgia House Representative Carol Fullerton explains that the map, set to be voted on this week, will determine which areas each representative will serve.
By trimming certain districts down there is a chance that our area can lose seats in the state house meaning less representation and voting power.
Fullerton, who serves district 153, plans to do be an advocate for what is best for South Georgia.
Fullerton says, " there are so many things to take into consideration to do this fairly its really complicated and you have to keep a level head."
