ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Wins have been hard to come by at Albany High in recent years.
The Indians want to change that this season.
Second year head coach Felton Williams is looking for marked improvement from a squad that returns nine starters on offense.
Leading the way is QB Emanuel Bryd and offensive linemen Roscoe Byrd and Johntavius Morrison.
All-region defensive end Jabri Jimmerson is one of seven starters back on defense.
Felton Williams said. "One of the most experienced teams I've seen in a while due to a lot of freshman 3 years ago and those freshman are now 3 year starters so this team is well seasoned."
Quarterback Emanue Byrd said. "We look pretty good. We had a good summer, summer practices. I think our experience, we're going to have to learn from our last seasons we grew as a team."
Albany High opens the season against Dougherty on August 27th.
