Camilla Police need your help to find armed robbers

CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

Camilla Police need you to take a good look at the following sketches.  They believe they're responsible for the armed robbery of the Winn Dixie store in Camilla earlier this week.

Anyone with information should call Camilla Police at (229) 336-2238.

On Sunday, August 7, 2011, Camilla Police responded to an armed robbery at the Winn Dixie located on Hwy 19 North in Camilla.

Three unknown subjects apparently entered the store some time before closing at 10:00 PM and hide somewhere inside the store. Once all the customers were gone and the store manager locked the door, the three suspects rushed the office area with guns drawn.

Two of the suspects jumped over the counter and office wall and forced the two remaining employees onto the floor. The two victims were tied up (hands and feet) with large zip ties (similar to flex cuffs), and instructed to cooperate and they would not be hurt.

The suspects then took a large amount of cash from the register tills and the safe. The third suspect was in the area of the service desk and was busy taking cartons of Marlboro brand cigarettes.

The suspects instructed the victims not to try and get loose until after they left. Once the suspects left the store, the victims were able to cut themselves loose and fled to the Wal-Mart next door to get help.

The three subjects were described as White Males, approximately 6-0, wearing long sleeve camouflage shirts, camouflage hoods and light colored jeans.
