Albany Dougherty Drug Unit agents raided a Northwest Albany motel this afternoon.
Acting on complaints, drug agents raided a room in the back of the Dollar Inn on North Slappey Boulevard about 2:15.
Agents found pills ready for sale and white powder they thought was cocaine. But tests determined it wasn't.
They detained 3 men and 2 women as they continued their investigation.
Drug agents say Friday afternoon is a busy time for drug dealers in Albany.
Friday afternoon is usually the time a lot of people pick up stuff for the weekend. Pick up, buy their drugs, so they will have it to use during the or for the weekend.
ADDU agents took those suspects in for questioning, but so far no charges have been filed.
