BLAKELY, GA (WALB) - Early County wants to end a long drought this season.
The Bobcats have missed the playoffs for the last three years and are counting on senior leadership to get them back in the postseason.
Linebacker Jakori Taylor will now take the snaps under center at quarterback and will be handing off to Landonis Bryant in the backfield.
Safety Vonte Spencer and linebacker Bakari Isom will help lead the defense.
Head coach Trey Woolf says his team is inexperienced at some positions but has some play makers on both the offensive and defensive lines.
Trey Woolf said. "Our experience is more up front than anywhere. We had alot of skills guys graduated last year. Our top two running back and quarterback graduated so we are a little experienced in the back field but hopefully experienced up front."
Early County opens the season against Bainbridge.
