An average of five Georgians are diagnosed with cancer each hour, and two people die from the disease.

For the price of what you might pay for lunch, the Southwest Georgia cancer coalition is giving you the opportunity to help fight cancer.

The cancer coalition is selling insulated lunch totes filled with coupons valued at $30 for a minimum of $10 donation.

Every dollar donated stays right here in Southwest Georgia to help further cancer research, screening, and outreach.

"Well when you are helping your neighbors who are suffering rather than sending your money to another county or another state, you actually know what you are doing with your dollars which I think is very important in any type of donation," says Amanda Williams, Development Coordinator.

The lunch boxes also contain educational information to help people realize how to live a healthier lifestyle and prevent cancer in their own family.

The lunch boxes are available at the Cancer Coalition office located on Lake Park Drive in Albany.
