Tax season is months away, but a major tax preparer is looking for workers in South Georgia.

H&R Block on West Broad held its annual career fair Tuesday, looking for seasonal workers.

Some of the positions include office managers and tax professionals for the next tax season.

One H&R District Manager is excited to help boost the sluggish job rate in Albany.

"We're excited and want to do our part to help put people back in the work force and the opportunity we have for the upcoming seasonal roles we have will hopefully be a good start to increased jobs here," said District Manager Tim St. Cere.

Applications will still be accepted after today.

H&R Block hopes to fill the positions by the end of the month.
