Luke Bryan's new CD sells out at local stores

Luke Bryan's new CD sold out at some area stores as he made a national appearance in New York to promote the release of his new CD.

The Lee County native shook it on Regis and Kelly today, singing his new hit single Country Girl.

Bryan got a good response from the audience and a hug from Kelly Rippa. At Albany's Target store, customers were buying up their supply of 43 CD's quickly. At 11:00 there were just three left. Fans say they continue to support Bryan because he's from south Georgia.

"When he was a hometown boy he performed at a good friend of mine's birthday party and so I've always supported him," said Kate Cox, Luke Bryan fan.

Bryan will make an appearance on the Today Show Wednesday morning and will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tailgates & Tanlines officially went on sale today. Target says they should get some more CD's in the next couple of days.
