An Albany mother wants answers after her little girl was overlooked on her school bus.

The 4-year old from Sylvandale Academy didn't get off the bus at her stop.

Her mother tells us the bus monitor checked up and down the aisle, then told her the girl wasn't on the bus.

Turns out she was asleep on the bus. The driver brought her back about 45-minutes later in the route.

The school system is checking into it. Assistant Superintendent Kenneth Goseer plans to review the matter with the school transportation director.

"We are going to do follow-ups and ensure, if there was something that failed, it will not happen anymore," said Goseer.
