Tonight Albany police are looking for a driver who caused a crash that injured two police officers early Monday morning.

Officers Alex Guy and Gregory Gadt were treated for minor injuries and released.

They were responding to a burglary call driving on West Oglethorpe when a car traveling north on South Davis Street came across the intersection.

Officer Gadt swerved to avoid hitting the car.

He lost control and his patrol car hit a sign and a tree.

Police don't have a good description of the car but ask anyone who has information about the crash to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
