Lee County Democrats are gearing up for 2012 election.

The Georgia Democrats hosted a day of action all over the state today, including Lee County.

A voter registration was held at the Lee County Governmental Building between 10 AM and 1 PM where they passed out information about important dates for the upcoming election.

They also introduced Lee County's young democrat leader, who urges everyone who is eligible to register to vote.

"That vote really does count and people who say that 'It is just one vote, it is not going to matter,' it is really sad to hear that because it does matter. If everyone had that same logic there would be no United States of America, where would we go from there, if we are a free country with elected people, there is no logic behind that kind of thinking," Brian Seo, Lee County H. S. Democrats Society Founder/President.

His main goal is to get democrats and republicans working together.
