Leesburg's Luke Bryan will be in national spotlight next week

You'll see lots of country music superstar Luke Bryan next week.  He's releasing a new album and will be all over the Internet and national TV.

The first single off his new CD has already had one million downloads.  Friday his biggest fan, his mother, talked about his success.

There are 13 songs on Luke Bryan's new CD and he hasn't forgotten his roots, one of the songs is titled Muckalee Creek Water and his mother tells us he still talks about Leesburg every chance he gets.

Lee County's Luke Bryan has shaken' his way to the top of the country music charts with his latest single Country Girl. Fans from two to 62 are singing along.

"Country girl shake it for me now, shake it for me now," sang four year old Landry Liston.

"Shake it for me girl, shake it for me," sang her two year old sister Annie.

Fans are anxious for the release of his new CD Tailgates & Tanlines, 13 new songs including Country Girl and Lee County gets a nod with, Muckalee Creek Water.

"I like his music and I think he's got great talent and I think he's succeeded very well," said Belinda Bell, a Luke Bryan fan.

" I like all of them (his songs) really, there's not a specific one," said Breanna Saxon, a Luke Bryan fan.

It's his biggest fan that has been all smiles lately, over her son's success.

"This is my son, this is my little boy that drove me crazy playing music and thought he was Michael Jackson and moon walked around the house forever and now when I turn on the TV that's my son and when I turn on the radio that's my son," said LeClaire Bryan, Luke's mother.

A son that now graces magazine covers making Nashville Lifestyles, hot list, with a full page layout featuring the Leesburg phenom.

"I just flipped out I love it, I love it, it's my baby," said Bryan.

Not to mention four pages in Country Weekly.

"Every parent is proud of their kid and wants them, you know wants their child to succeed. And for someone to succeed in life you have to give it all you can and have the support of your family and your home town," said Bryan.

He's certainly got fan support being nominated for a teen choice award. While his home town is proud, he's just as proud of them.

"He's so proud of being from Leesburg and getting to share that all over the world," said Bryan.

You can bet as he prepares for another tour the nation will hear about Leesburg and southwest Georgia.

Tailgates & Tanlines is Bryan's third Album and free downloads are available on his web site which can be found at http://www.lukebryan.com/
