Thomas Co. goes back to school Monday

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -Thomas County Schools kick off Monday with some new leaders in charge.

Former football coach and assistant principal Ken Harper is taking over as principal at Thomas County Central High School. Harper has worked at that school for 28 years.

He says his top priority is to maintain the relationships he's built over that time. "I have great relationships from the custodial staff to the lunch room staff to the counselors to the teachers and I want to maintain that relationship."

Among other personnel changes, Clay Stanaland was named principal of Cross Creek Elementary.
