A Southwest Georgia CEO is named one of the best bosses in Georgia.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle ranked HeritageBank CEO Len Dorminey number three on its list of the top ten CEOs in Georgia.

The ranking is based on shareholder return, increase in revenues and increase in net income.

Dorminey says he wouldn't have received the honor without the support of the community.

"I am also honored to accept this award on behalf of Albany, Georgia. We're a community bank headquartered here so I'm very proud to be able to share this award with the community as well," said Dorminey.

HeritageBank more than double in size in the last year. Groundbreaking will be held this fall on a new Valdosta location. Construction should take a year.
