Who let the Dawgz out??

Posted: Updated:

Ready to get back among the top programs in college football this season, the Georgia Bulldogs opened fall practice this afternoon.  The Bulldogs worked out in helmets and shorts before putting on the full pads next week.

The opening practice provided the first look at the incoming freshman class dubbed the dream team.  Coaches and the veterans all wanted to see just how many in this talented class will be able to help this team in the fall.

Head coach Mark Richt says he is anxious to see these freshmen and other players who are reported to be bigger, stronger and faster this summer.

Richt said "We all know they are a bunch of freshmen coming in. We are all anxious to see what they look like. We will see more of the skill guys early on because we are just in shorts and helmets. The big guys you don't learn a whole lot in these types of practices."

Aaron Murray said "They have come in here with a great attitude. Not an attitude of hey we are the dream team and move aside older guys, we are here to come in and take over. They have to come in with the attitude they are going to work hard and they have done that all summer."

Bulldogs open the season in Atlanta against Boise State in September 1st
