Berrien County inmates combed through an area off the Nashville-Enigma Highway where investigators say burglary suspects threw out stolen property.

Monday a witness saw a Jeep Cherokee pull out of Dr. Danny Ray's driveway and speed off. Ray's home was burglarized and now he's getting an alarm system installed.

A witness followed the car and called in the tag number. A Berrien County investigator saw the car at a gas station around 3 a.m., stopped it, and arrested Antonio Bennett and Shanika Davis. A teenager is also now charged.

" I know that our God is a forgiving God and I will have a forgiving heart as well and pray for those who took advantage of us," said Dr. Danny Ray.

"If you see something, like this lady did, call us," said Berrien County Sheriff Anthony Heath.

They believe the suspects may be responsible for other burglaries.
