A woman and an infant in her car were taken to Phoebe Putney hospital after her car crossed the median on U.S. 19 near Baconton, and overturned in the Southbound lane.

The accident happened about 5:30, and the Baconton Fire Department is on the scene, which is near Bobcat Trail.

Both Southbound lanes of U.S. 19 are closed at the moment, but the Northbound lanes are open.
