At least one south Georgia liquor store is taking a stand against Sunday sales.

The vote won't come up for another three months in Albany, but The Warehouse is trying to reach voters early.

The campaign started Sunday morning as many were headed to downtown churches to worship. The message on the digital sign outside is simple, Vote No to Sunday Sales.

Manager Louis Bernard says he wants to continue to allow his workers to have Sundays off. He doesn't think sales generated on Sunday would exceed his cost to open.

After the legislature agreed to take the issue to voters, the city authorized putting it on the ballot in November.  Dougherty County never did.
