An East Albany church day care center welcomes kids for an end of summer vacation celebration.

It was community day as the River Road Church Learning Center opened its doors to kids from their entire community as they prepare to go back to school.

They enjoyed water slides, bouncey toys,  bikes, games,  and food.

"So they can come and get something to eat. Slide on the water slide, jump around, listen to their music, and fellowship with other youth their age," said  Youth Advisory Council Member Jessica King.

This is the third year the River Road Learning Center has hosted the community day.

It will continue until 7 PM.
