The people at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital are making patients feel a little more comfortable.

Patients undergoing a biopsy at the hospital are now receiving a gift bag with items to help make the process a little more comfortable.

The bag includes a water bottle, crackers, mints, fuzzy socks and an inspirational book.

The bags are also insulated so they can be used as a lunch bag.

Staff members say the bags so a token of their appreciation.

"We really do genuinely care about our patients. Everyone who works here from the technologists to all the nurses and the administrative staff we really sincerely care about our patients," said Registered Nurse Dorothy Dickey.

The Junior Woman's Club of Albany donated the funds for the items inside the bags.
