Whether it was a twister or a micro burst, high wind of some description caused a stir in Homerville late Tuesday afternoon.

The police chief tells WALB that at least two people reported a tornado. The city manager says he thinks what came through was a micro-burst.

Sharon Calley doesn't know if she saw a tornado, but she did see her Chevrolet Suburban picked up and set back down by something. Luckily, she was inside Richard's meat Store when it happened, and not in the vehicle. It did not appear to be damaged.

A metal garage was flipped over onto Highway 84, and was removed by a tow truck.

ROad sign poles were bent over by the wind, and railroad arms at the crossing in town were broken. CSX Railroad crews had them fixed by Wednesday morning.
