WORTH COUNTY, GA (WALB) - After a heated discussion over finances, Worth County Commissioners decided to rehire three of five employees recently let go to save money.
Commissioners amended their budget, Adding roughly $220,000 in spending.
They decided to bring back two workers in building and zoning and one secretary in public works.
They also changed the animal control job from part time to full time.
Right now, the budget contains at least 18 furlough days, but commissioners plan to talk more about it next week.
