Crews were busy this afternoon repairing a utility pole after a SUV crashed into it.
The accident happened on Highway 82 in Sylvester. A mother and her six-year old suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
The woman told an officer someone ran her off the road and she slammed into the pole.
Neighbors say it's not the first time a vehicle has run into one of the poles which are located very close to the road.
"Next thing I know I heard a loud boom, so then I come running down and you could see the truck just turning and turning," said Maryann Pierce.
