ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Post 30 had good pitching early against Rockdale but Rockdale finds their offense to win 19-2 in seven innings in the first day of the American Legion state tournament.
Post 30 led 2-1 after 4 innings.
Rockdale scored 6 runs in the 5th to take control.
Justin Guy hit a grand slam for Rockdale.
Rockdale now plays Leesburg Post 182 at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Loganville defeated Conyers 8-0 on Friday and will play at 10 a.m. Saturday against Douglasville.
Post 30 faces the loser of the Douglasville/Loganville game.
