MOUTLRIE, GA (WALB) - North Florida Christian is taking home the first place trophy from the 4th annual Southeastern 7 on 7 Passing Tournament at Colquitt County High School's Packer Park.
Valdosta High finished second and Colquitt County A placed fifth.
Packers head coach Rush Propst says 7 on 7 drills do allow quarterbacks, receivers and defensive backs to get in some extra work before the season start.
The tournament has attracted 14 top high school football programs in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
Propst says the real purpose is to let the kids have fun while at the same time they get into condition for the season.
Rush Propst said. "It gives the chance to play the game. Simulate a game. Backyard football like we used to do when we were growing up instead of running sprints every day. It just makes it fun and I think that is what makes it important."
Colquitt County win the Southeastern title last year.
