MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -
A Moultrie teenager is acquitted on murder charges.
Nineteen year old Maurice Lewis Welch was arrested in January 2010 in the shooting of 18-year old Juan Giron-Lopez outside a home on Joe Louis Avenue.
Welch was charged with felony murder, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
Two co-defendants in the case have already been sentenced and are serving prison terms.
