A passenger was treated and released from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in a fatal Colquitt County crash.

It happened on Thigpen Trail and Highway 270 West in Doerun.

Officials say 86-year-old Nancy Bogert pulled out in front of an oncoming car around 1:30 Thursday afternoon. She was taken to Phoebe Putney Hospital where she died.

Her husband, Walter, was treated and released from the hospital.

The driver of the second car 66-year-old Pauline Hart of Baconton complained of back pain, but didn't go to the hospital.

State troopers say Bogert pulled out in front of Hart after failing to yield at the stop sign.
