ATLANTA, GA (WALB) - Georgia Tech football coach Paul Johnson is not happy with the NCAA sanctions that strip his team of their 2009 ACC Championship.
Head coach Paul Johnson right now is more concerned about winning the 2011 ACC title.
The Jackets are coming off a very disappointing six and seven season.
Coach Johnson says his team can bounce back from that losing season by doing one thing.
Holding on to the football.
Turnovers were perhaps the biggest reason the Jackets lost five of their last six games.
Paul Johnson said. "Actually from a numbers standpoint we were better a year ago in yards, rushing and all of those kind of things. We weren't as efficient throwing it and we turned it over too much. In the second year of the defense, hopefully we will play a little better there. Clean up the kicking game."
Georgia Tech will start practice on August 3rd and Fan Day is August 6th.
