A 22 year old Albany man is sentenced to 15 years in prison for the armed robbery and carjacking of a woman in the Albany Mall parking lot.

Archtravis Leverette plead guilty to armed robbery, hijacking, aggravated assault, and guns charges.

Investigators say in August 2010 Leverette and two teenagers robbed Pamela Sharp at gunpoint around two O-clock in the Dillards parking lot, taking her Chevy Tahoe and her purse. Police arrested Leverette about 20 minutes later.

The two teenagers have already plead guilty to armed robbery charges, and were also sentenced to serve 15 years in prison.
