The scorching heat impacted the change of command ceremony at Moody Air Force Base.
Some airmen had to take a break from their formation grab some water, take off their jackets, and cool off. Emergency workers were nearby to assist those affected by the heat.
The ceremony started at 9:30 in the morning.
