From NBC -
Taylor Davis is an 18-year-old from Leesburg, Georgia who has always wanted to be able to share his voice with the world. He's doing so on NBC's America's Got Talent, which is in its sixth season.
At only 12 years old, he picked up a guitar and never stopped playing. Not only has he taught himself the guitar, but also the piano, drums and bass guitar.
Taylor lives in a small town; but no audience is too small, so he plays and sings anywhere that he can, including in church every week.
Although Taylor has dealt with tough times, he inspires himself from the hardships to make himself stronger as a person. When he performs, he wants to share his own emotions and let everyone relate to his music, so they know they aren't the only ones who have suffered.
He also wants to show America that you don't have to be perfect to be someone in this world, you just have to believe in yourself and know that you can do anything you set your mind and, most importantly, your heart to.
Watch America's Got Talent on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 9:00, on WALB-NBC. An all-new live show Tuesday, July 19th at 9/8c and Wednesday, July 20th at 9/8c, features Hot Chelle Rae and Traces...
Here is a message from Taylor to his fans-
So it's been a wild ride these past couple months, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. When I did my first audition in Atlanta I never thought I would have gotten this far in the competition.
Before all this I was just playing at my church and at weddings. I've always dreamed of being able to share my voice with the world. For the judges to be able to give me the chance to do that is just a dream come true in itself.
While I was standing waiting for the judges to give me the verdict in Vegas, I finally realized that I really wanted this. I'm not a very emotional person, but when they sent me to Hollywood I couldn't hold back the emotions I had that day.
I am currently getting ready for Hollywood. Practicing my song almost everyday, and making sure it can be the best for you guys. I want you all to be able to feel what I'm feeling during this performance. I want to be able to connect to my fans and the audience as much as possible. I hope you guys really enjoy it and vote for me.
I know that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, and knowing that it is in America's hands means I have to give you guys the best that I can possibly give. I promise to do just that. Once again I am so thankful for this opportunity, but I am more thankful that you all are supporting me throughout this whole experience.
I promise to keep you guys more updated. Follow me on Twitter and go like my fan page to see what I'm doing throughout the day. That's where I will keep you guys posted on what I'm doing when I'm at home and in Hollywood.
Thanks for reading everyone and I hope you guys will stick with me through this amazing and exciting journey I have in my life right now.
