People gather to bring attention to one of many unsolved murders of women in Coffee County.

Albany wig bandit appeared in court Friday, without his wig.

19-year old Tyrafred Campbell, known as Ray Ray, stood before a judge  to hear the armed robbery charges against him.

He was captured Thursday afternoon, when Dooly County Sheriff's Officers spotted him on I-75.

Campbell is accused of robbing two East Albany convenience stores earlier this week while wearing a woman's wig.

Surveillance video showed the robber taking money from the cashiers, then firing shots at a customer outside one of the stores.

Campbell is now also charged with holding up the Homerun Foods on U.S. 19 in Lee County last Saturday night.

Dougherty County Police Detective Sgt. Chad Kirkpatrick said "The information we received, he was in the Atlanta Georgia area and when he was stopped yesterday on I-75 he was headed to Cordele, Georgia."

Police say they are looking for another man in the holdups.
