DOOLY COUNTY, GA (WALB) – The teen dubbed the "Wig Robber" after a pair of hold ups at Dougherty County convenience stores is now in jail. He's also facing charges for an armed robbery in Lee County.

19-year-old Tyrafred Campbell, also known as Ray Ray, was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 in Dooly County.

Dougherty County Police along with local authorities and the G-B-I were in on the arrest.

Police "Ray Ray" robbed the Pit Stop on Sylvester Road, Monday night. Surveillance video showed the wig wearing robber firing shots at a customer outside the store. No one was hit. The robber then struck the Fast Lane store just down the road.

Lee County investigators issued warrants Thursday on Campbell for an armed robbery Saturday night at Homerun Foods on U.S. 19.

He's in the Dooly County Jail facing numerous charges including 3 counts of armed robbery along with aggravated assault and firearms charges.
