Stardust Skating Rink and local church hosts canned food drive

A local church skated the night away for charity.

Stardust Skate Rink and River Road Church of Christ held a canned food drive to help the second Harvest Food Bank in Albany.

With a canned good, admission was three dollars. The event was part of the church's Vacation Bible school and hopes to teach kids the value of helping your neighbor.

Although the Church has met its goal, they encourage others to participate in the drive and take donations to the second harvest food bank as well.
