ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Flint River golf pro Roy Snead is hosting one of his biggest Hook A Kid on golf camps this week.
More than 20 youngsters have picked up a golf course for the first time this week.
The campers receive clubs, bags and lessons from Roy Snead.
This program has started the amateur career for many players over the years and these kids are looking forward to continuing after this week.
Camper Madison McCoy said. "I am really, really, really 100 times really excited"
Camper Matthew Walker said. "The most hard thing about golf is that if you hit it hard, it won't really go anywhere. The point is to hit it easy."
The Hook A Kid on Golf camp also teaches their players the rules of the game.
