VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Three South Georgia high school wrestlers are charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year old boy at a wrestling camp.

17-year olds Kenney Mason of Lowndes High and twins Darshawn and Marshawn Sharp of Valdosta High, are accused of holding down a fellow wrestling camper and sexually assaulting him with a tooth brush.

Investigators say the assault happened during high school wrestling camp at Shorter University in Rome last Friday.

Mason is out on $20,000 bond, and bond is set at $15,000 for the twin Sharp brothers, but they remain in jail.

"They're all teammates," said Rome Police Det. Jeff Richerson. "They wound up what probably started according to them, is horseplay. They got a little too carried away and took it too far and it crossed into a criminal act. Once it was made known to one of the coaches they contacted us."

A 4th wrestler, Dallas Brown, of Lawrenceville is also charged in the assault.
