Doctor's Lab burglary arrest made

An Albany man is charged with breaking into a drug testing laboratory.

Police say 48 year old Demetrius Jackson kicked in the back door of the Doctor's Laboratory on North Jefferson Street around three this morning.

An alarm went off, and the burglar left without taking anything.

Police say the burglar attempted to cut the power to the alarm at the alarm box.

Jackson is being held at the Dougherty County jail.
