A 20 year old Albany man is sentenced to 25 years in prison for molesting a 7 year old child.

A jury deliberated less than an hour before finding Montrevious Spurlin guilty of Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sodomy, Child Molestation, Sodomy, Sexual Battery Against A Child Under 16, and Simple Battery.

Prosecutors say he severely injured the 7 year old daughter of his girlfriend.

After serving his sentence, Spurlin will have to register as a sexual offender along with other special probation conditions.
