Come out and join the 7th annual Kids on the Move 5K walk and run.
Kids ages ages two through sixteen are invited to walk or run the 12 laps around the Albany State University track.
The event will take place on Friday July 22.
This is a free event and there will be prizes awarded to kids who come in first, second and third place in each age group.
Registration begins at 7:00AM with the walk-run beginning at 8:00AM.
Parents must complete and sign a release form in order for their children to participate.
"You're more than welcome to walk with your kids. What better way to show them how important exercise is in your daily routine and encourage them to get some exercise, make it fun for them," says Kristin Caso, Recreation and Parks Dept. Special Events Coordinator.
EMT's will be on site incase of overheating.
Water and snacks will be provided to keep you nourished while you are exercising.
