Robinson gets 30 years in shooting death

A 20-year-old Albany man is sentenced to 30 years in prison for killing a fellow gang member.

Gerald Robinson pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, possession of firearm, and giving false statements to officers.

Last August 31st Robinson said he was arguing with fellow Blood gang member Malcolm Todd at Robinson's home on Dobbs Drive, when he shot and killed Todd.

Robinson initially told Police a rival gang killed Todd in a drive by shooting.
