A busy Albany road shut down after heavy rain over the weekend is back open Monday, and construction supervisors hope to pave it by Wednesday to prevent any more problems.
Three inches of rain fell in about 45-minutes Saturday, washing out part of Meredyth Drive where workers were installing large pipes under the road to improve drainage.
The road was closed to through traffic until this morning.
Two lanes are now open.
